This five day, four night Safari with extended stay in the world famous Serengeti National Park
offers you the best of Tanzanian wildlife and the best chance of seeing the ”Big 5”, which includes
the lion (simba), elephant (tembo), buffalo (nyati), rhino (faru), and the leopard (chui.) You are
also very likely to see hippos, giraffes, antelopes, a variety of monkeys and birds, jackals, zebras,
and so much more! You will have a chance to see the animals in action in their natural habitat with
a lot of time to observe their behavior.
You will spend five days riding in a Safari jeep across the three parks, while enjoying a wild ride with the wind in your face, as your experienced guide will attempt his best to find you all the hidden gems of the parks, while teaching you about the wildlife. Feel free to ask a lot of questions!
6:00am - Pickup from hotel in Moshi and transfer to your Safari jeep near Tarangire National Park.

refreshments or browse the shops at the gate entrance (credit cards accepted at some of the
shops but bring cash also.)
10:30 – start your adventure and game drive in Tarangire. You will stop for lunch at a picnic
ground inside the park. This park hosts elephants, monkeys, many birds, warthogs, and a
landscape filled with baobab trees. Depending on the season, you may also see giraffes, zebras,
and wildebeests.
4:00pm – exit the park and transport to your lodging in Mto Wa Mbu.
6:00pm – dinner at your hotel.
8:00am – breakfast at your lodge.
9:00am – drive through the highlands of Ngorongoro National Park, where you pass by many
Maasai villages and wildlife. On a clear day, you can stop at the lookout point of the Ngorongoro
crater. On the plains you may witness herds of zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and giraffes, among
many other animals.
1:30pm – Arrive at Serengeti National Park. While your guide processes entry to the park, you can
enjoy coffee, refreshments, and shopping at the entry gate rest area. (Credit cards typically
accepted)
2:00pm – start your game drive in the Serengeti National Park. Your guide will visit the areas

5:30pm – Arrive at your campsite in Ngorongoro.
7:00pm – dinner at the campground. Evening rain at this campsite is possible, so dry bags and
other rain gear is recommended and make sure to close your tent well every time you leave your
tent. Because of altitude, temperature at this campsite may drop drastically at night, so a light
jacket and long pants are highly recommended.
6:00am – breakfast and preparation at camp. You will experience big changes in temperature on
day 4, so layering your clothes is recommended.
7:00am – Start your drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. While your guide processes your
entry you may be able to enjoy the view from above the crater (weather dependent, of course.)
8:00am – Begin your descent into the crater for your game drive in the Ngorongoro. This is the
area where you have the best chance of seeing the rhinos. They tend to stay far from the roads, so
binoculars will be your best chance of spotting them. The Ngorongoro also hosts zebras,
elephants, a lot of smaller animal life, and many curious birds. The lakes in this area are a home for
the pink flamingo. Depending on weather conditions and timing, you will either eat lunch at the
Hippo pool or back at camp.
3:00pm – exit the Ngorongoro park and connect with your driver to bring you back to Moshi.
